Raymond Giacomini, together with his wife Beverly (Smith) and their two sons, Roddy and Gary Giacomini, extended Lyman’s Ready-mix Concrete business to Capistrano Beach and San Juan Capistrano. Location: 25789 Las Vegas Blvd, Capo Beach, CA.
New double batch plant was built in their new location at: 114 Rincon Ct, San Clemente, CA.
Lyman’s Ready-Mix Concrete, Inc. operated in this location until 1997.
In 1995, Rincon began its journey as a truck shop and a parts operation, focusing on Lyman’s equipment and serving local customers. This foundational work paved the way for the company’s incorporation in 1997, a milestone it continues to build upon today.
Gary Giacomini, the grandson of Lyman Smith, was immersed in the ready-mix concrete industry from a young age. With countless years honing his skills as a mechanic and managing both truck and batch plant operations, he inherited a wealth of experience. The closure of Lyman’s Concrete served as a pivotal moment for him, sparking the inspiration to establish Rincon. Utilizing the existing facilities, including service bays, the parts and administration building, and warehouse, he set out to create a new chapter in the family legacy with Rincon.
Throughout the years and even today, our committed team and ownership have continually worked to strengthen and expand our OEM partnerships, ensuring we deliver the best possible parts and service to our customers.
Currently, Gary works only as necessary, while his stepson, Wayne Todd and Daughter-in-law, Candice Todd, manage the daily operations.
